Tampa is a Lighter version of Miami less traffic, less attitudemore space less people.
I found accessible spots few and far in between.
Cheap Take it for what it is.
A little bit of everything A1 beaches and ugly hoods with clapboard houses in East Tampa where i bought my weed.

Yes, I realize Jacksonville is a much, much bigger city than St.
Petersburg, but if we were given only these two choices to live in, what would the pros and cons of these two be?
We are young male adults.
Not sure about Jacksonville, but in and around St.
Pete there's so much stuff to do: beaches, theme parks and continue reading is awesome.
Some of the best restaurants too.
Fellow young male adult that chose UNF over USF for school and ended up regretting it.
I haven't spent too much time in the Tampa bay area, but I know that there are much more people there compared to Jax.
Traffic can be awful in both areas however.
Jax beaches are nothing compared to the gulf coast unless you are a surfer.
If you are just regular beach people, you would enjoy St.
Sarasota is for geriatrics St Pete is a younger, more liberal city and I love living around here.
There's great food, great local beer, and plenty of events going on.
I've found the people are quite friendly, the beaches are great, and there seems to be something for everyone.
I've had bad experiences in Jacksonville and while it is much larger, I don't think it has as much going for it for a young adult.
I lived in Hyde Park in Tampa for a time and have been to Jacksonville many times, sometimes for click at this page and sometimes for concerts and other things.
I currently have business in Sarasota and live in Miami at the moment if that helps.
I moved to Miami from Tampa almost a year ago now.
Tampa Bay There's more immediately around you than Jacksonville and more centrality for Florida's major cities.
It's just an hour and change to Orlando, about two hours or less to Vero Beach a totally different Floridaabout three hours and forty five minutes to Miami, two hours and some to Naples, forty five minutes to an hour for Sarasota, etc.
There are some rather fascinating little old towns that are a part of the bay area including Dunedin a slice of old FloridaClearwater Scientologists hereTarpon Springs USA Greek community capitalAnna Maria Island a bit like the keysand more.
Petersburg has a very famous art museum devoted to Salvador Dali that I imagine some other folks drop counter slot and />Sailing is big out of there as it is in Tampa and I don't think there's a huge long waiting list to put a sailboat in the city marina.
Living there would be much cheaper than living in Tampa or Sarasota and you can still get fairly close to the water or even on the water for around half a million dollars in a single family home, think the Old Southeast neighborhood that's going to see some big increases in price in not too long.
Petersburg has a great deal of bars and more of a young hipster sort of scene than the other cities do, it also has a lot of homosexuals which contribute to the vibe heavily in a Key West sort of way which I appreciate.
They also have some great vintage stores and antique stores.
However, like Jacksonville, there's a great deal of crime in the area towards the center of the peninsula.
You can do some more reading on who and why that is for yourself.
Tampa is a much more expensive city click to see more St.
Petersburg but probably a better investment as it's overall a safer community with better schools and a slowly reviving downtown St.
Petersburg definitely has Tampa beat when it comes to its downtown.
The University of Tampa's success is a major contributor to that and its success one could probably pin to the local businessmen and women who take great pride in their city and want to attract or grow young talent there.
I can recommend the best bread pudding of my life in Tampa at Restaurant BT, goodfellas actors casino in and absolutely fantastic French-Vietnamese cuisine.
There's also some very high quality apartment associations in Tampa, particularly Hyde Park Learn more here, if you're game for renting.
Tampa has a very rich stock of early twentieth century large apartment buildings as well as 4 and 6-plexes in the south Tampa area mostly.
There's some rapidly improving neighborhoods outside of South Tampa as well that are probably good buys like Seminole Heights and Tampa Heights.
There is something like 340 black tie events happening a year.
The place has been getting some interest from Hollywood because it can look like Florida or not Florida depending on where you are like Tampa, lots of commercials are shot there.
The art museum at the Ringling Estate is magnificent, one of the best art museums I've ever visited definitely.
The beaches there are of a higher quality than the rest of the Tampa Bay area and definitely better than Jacksonville.
Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach are unfortunately very hard packed when it comes to the consistency of the sand itself and it can feel like walking on sand-covered concrete.
Sarasota however is much more expensive than the other areas for casino in st petersburg florida pros and cons good quality house and it is getting more and more expensive each month as they, like the rest of the west coast and Florida in general really, are experiencing a building boom.
New hotels, condos, and so on are going up frequently there.
They're also doing a big beach restoration job in which I'm involved.
The city is very healthy overall and poised for a lot of growth.
It's everything that West Palm Beach and Vero Beach could have and should have been, really.
If you're a fan of modernist architecture then you'll definitely like Sarasota.
Paul Rudolph got his start there.
Jacksonville Jacksonville was Florida's center of commerce and industry for a long time.
It might not look like it in its downtown though since its had its share of teardown-happy times just like Miami and Tampa have although I think Jacksonville has suffered the worst.
They used to have a bunch of awesome prairie-style commercial buildings there that're now long gone.
The real vestige of Jacksonville's might can be seen in its Ortega and Riverside neighborhoods, amongst other neighborhoods, where you can see tons and tons of mansions up and down the St.
Jacksonville is recovering now though and Shahid Kahn is partially responsible for that, I'd say.
They have a few building projects in the works as well although not as much as the rest of the state.
I'm unsure of the rental market up there but I know they have an extremely high quality stock of homes for, last I checked, cheaper prices than the other areas mentioned.
Jacksonville doesn't have a decent university anchoring it which is why it doesn't have, in my opinion, much of a younger hipster sort of scene that one often associates with nice university areas like South Howard in Tampa, Main Highway in Coconut Grove though it has definitely seen better days, my current street of residencethe whole main street area of Winter Park, and so on.
I do recall though that there are pockets of it here and there in Riverside.
Jacksonville once had a very successful streetcar system that was run out of business by the rise of the automobile and the city has been very, very, very automobile-centric since then and that's one of the things going against it, definitely.
Tampa can be that way as well depending on which part you live in and I definitely don't have much room to talk considering I live in Miami and it's perhaps the worst offender of all except for very specific areas.
Last I'd seen Jacksonville has a lot of racial issues as well as can be seen in St.
Petersburg so I'd be careful.
Something that would be helpful is your budget and your purpose.
Do you have a job lined up?
Are you just adventuring around?
Are you a group of traveling casino in st petersburg florida pros and cons or beats?
I hope this helped some.
That is unless you mean land area.
The Tampa bay metro is more of a big city than Jacksonville is.
St Petersburg is snack dab in the middle of the metro area ranking second in population and with the highest population density.
Jacksonville is only big because the while county is technically the city.
Jacksonville MSA has 1.
Tampa is way bigger, but JAX is the 40th largest MSA in the country, so I wouldn't necessarily call Tampa more of a big city, just more people.
I look more at population density than just population.
The density in Tampa and St.
Petersburg is 2-4 times higher than Jacksonville.
Jacksonville may be a larger city population wise, but the Tampa-St Pete area is much larger than Jacksonville.
And the beaches are nicer.
I absolutely loved living in Jacksonville.
I absolutely rome and egypt slot free download living in Tampa.
I have spent a decent amount of time in St.
Pete and I think I would get pretty bored after a month or so.
Is there a reason that you are choosing St.
Tampa has so many bars, restaurants, and events going on that are perfect for 20 somethings.
Also if you are casino in st petersburg florida pros and cons sports you can't go wrong living in Tampa.
But I wouldn't plan on living in St.
Pete and going into Tampa all that regularly -- the traffic is absolutely hellish.
Jacksonville has a great beach area with bars and while traffic isn't great getting there during rush hour it is much, much better than the Tampa to St.
There are tons of different neighborhoods that are great for 20 somethings and the rent is relatively cheap.
Pete and Jax I would choose Jax, but between Jax and Tampa I would choose Tampa.
Sarasota doesn't even deserve to be in this conversation, it is one of the worst casino in st petersburg florida pros and cons for a 20 something to live in Florida.
I live in St Petersburg and it usually only takes me 15 minutes to get to Tampa.
The gateway area is awesome.
If anything, St Petersburg is better for 20 somethings than Tampa is.
Hope long ago were you here?
That was true about 8+ years ago but now St Petersburg is becoming more of a young city.
We do not want to live right inside the city so outside of Tampa or outside of Jacksonville is what we are looking at.
Outside of Tampa, St.
Pete looked nice, but is there more info better area other than St Pete outside of Tampa?
What is important to you in the place you want to live?
Accessibility to major highways?
Close to the beach?
For us, it would be nearby access to a major city for potential career opportunities but prefer outside of it.
We all like being closer to Southern Florida for more wilderness, Myakka Everglades etc.
Access to beach and lakes for fishing.
Other than that, somewhere within our age range is indeed important which is in the 20s' range.
Both Tampa and Jacksonville have numerous opportunities for careers.
In JAX, the younger scene is usually at the beach, but that's far from any wilderness.
You can live inland right outside of JAX and still buy acres for your house, and have way less lighr pollution.
Tampa has a lot going for it as well.
Lots of trendy areas, younger crowds, etc.
Less wilderness unless you get south of Polk county.

Do you have a job lined up?
Are you just adventuring around?
Are you a group of traveling artists or beats?
I absolutely loved living in Tampa.
I have spent a decent amount of time in St.
Pete and I think I would get pretty bored after a month or so.
Is there a reason that you click to see more choosing St.
Tampa has so many bars, restaurants, and events going on that are casino in st petersburg florida pros and cons for 20 somethings.
Also if you are into sports you can't go wrong living in Tampa.
Sarasota doesn't even deserve to be in this conversation, it is one of the worst places for a 20 something to live in Florida.
I live in St Petersburg and it usually only takes me 15 minutes to get to Tampa.
The gateway casino in st petersburg florida pros and cons is awesome.
If anything, St Petersburg is better for 20 somethings than Tampa spinal cord and brain />Hope long ago were you here?
That was true about 8+ years ago but now St Petersburg is becoming more of a young city.
We do not want to live right inside the city so outside of Tampa or outside of Jacksonville is what we are looking at.
Outside of Tampa, St.
Pete looked nice, but is there a better area other than St Pete outside of Tampa?
